Healing Touch - The Angels Are Here to Help Us Be Better Healing Practitioners

By Linda Lee Smith

Healing practitioners need to learn how to call upon the "angels" for assistance in their healing work with others. It is not uncommon for recipients of hands-on healing to report the sensation of "many hands" upon them in places where the practitioner may not have been touching at all. They report not only feelings of well-being, but often describe it as a sense of the "holy" being present. To do our healing work, we have these invisible helpers the angels who are always near us, assisting in the work.

They do not interfere with our choices or with the secrets of our hearts. We have to call upon them, otherwise their attention and their work will be on more external affairs in the bigger cosmic picture. If we want this angelic help, we have to invite them into our hearts and our minds. Why don't they prevent bad things from happening to us? The fact is they have a higher, more detached perspective about our life experiences and they don't interfere with the choices our souls make.

It is our prayer and our calling on God that invites these angelic helpers into our life to protect, guard and assist us. They are truly on our side and act out of goodness. In times past, there was great concern about whether all of the spirits were good ones. Our age is no different.

The Angels Work with Us Whether We Believe in Them or Not

Whether you believe in angels or not is a matter of personal choice. The angels will continue working with you even when you don't acknowledge their existence. The more you can open yourself to experiencing the angels in your life, the more you will begin to recognize their presence and inspiration to you. Reading about the angelic experiences of others can help you get in touch with your own story of how angels have interceded on your behalf throughout your whole life. The more we are able to develop our intuitive gifts, the more we will be able to understand what the angels are trying to teach us. Trust your own heart and respect your experiences.

Angels cannot intervene in our lives without our permission. Neither are they a substitute for ordinary human means of knowledge and skills. If you are unsure whether the answer or the direction is from God and the angels, then look at the message. God and the angels will always give you loving and supportive messages. If you feel fearful, do not follow it. After you have called upon the angels to help you, then look for the answers that will direct you. Your prayers will be answered.
