Look Like Brad Pitt From Fight Club

By Ryan Kelly

Want to look like Brad Pitt from Fight Club? Or maybe you would like to look like one of the Spartan Warriors from the Movie 300? This is a very common goal among young men, because that "look" is considered to be very attractive to women.

What most people do not realize, however, is that this look does not have a lot of muscle. People think that the Spartans from 300 were extremely muscular, but in reality they were not. There were very few 200 pound men in the movie 300. What they had that made them so distinctive was very, very low body fat.

This look, which some bodybuilders refer to as being "ripped", is attained by having a small base of muscle with low fat that allows the muscle to show through. A World's Strongest Man competitor has the exact opposite look. Those men have a ton of muscle, but also a lot of fat. Although they are larger and stronger athletes, many men do not want to look like that.

If you want to look ripped, do high repetition work in the gym followed by a cardio. The high rep resistance work builds a base of muscle, but not a lot of bulk, and burns a bit of fat. The cardio will burn a lot of fat if done over time. Eventually, you can achieve the physique of a Spartan warrior this way. Just be aware that you will not get particularly big or strong. Still, if size and strength are not your goal you can look great at the beach this way!
